La La Land actress Emma Stone has reportedly welcomed her first child with comedian husband Dave McCary, as confirmed by People Magazine.

On Friday morning, sources told the entertainment site that the Hollywood actress has indeed given birth and that they are happy parents of a beautiful baby girl.

News of Emma Stone's pregnancy was confirmed in January when a news source told E! News that the actress is enjoying her married life.

Though it was only early this year when the news was confirmed, photographs of the actress cradling her baby bump have been circulating online late last year, after she opted out of an upcoming flick with Brad Pitt.

The Arizona native opened up about starting a family in an interview with Jennifer Lawrence for Elle Magazine back in 2018.

She told her fellow actress, “My perspective about kids has changed as I've gotten older.

“I never babysat or anything. As a teenager, I was like, 'I'm never getting married, I'm never having kids.

“And then, I got older, and I was like, 'I really want to get married, and I really want to have kids.' It's the turning 30 thing when you're like, 'I'm not that young. I'm young, but I'm not that young.'”

Emma added, “It's weird how much turning 30 crystallizes your life. Instead of just living the dreams that I had in my youth and getting to do the job that I love to do and making friends, and going through all of that, it's like, now what do I actively want as an adult?”

Emma and Dave started dating in 2017 and announced their engagement two years later.

In September 2020, the Hollywood actress had reportedly tied the knot after postponing it, as reported by People Magazine.

Aside from her baby news, Emma Stone will star in the live-action film Cruella that will come out on May 28, 2021, in the United States.
